The Buddhagaya Centre of the Maha Bodhi Society of India commemorated the 162nd Birth Anniversary of its revered founder, Srimath Anagarika Dharmapala, with a meaningful programme held on 17 September 2026. The occasion brought together members of the Maha Sangha, distinguished guests, devotees, teachers and school students to remember the remarkable life, vision and contribution of Anagarika Dharmapala to the revival and preservation of Buddhism and Buddhist heritage in India.
